Response of soybean cultivars with different maturation times to pre-emergence herbicides

چکیده

Herbicide selectivity is the basis for chemical control of weeds; however, it depends on interactions between herbicide, crop, and edaphoclimatic conditions. The objective this work was to evaluate herbicides applied at pre-emergence stage soybean cultivars with different maturation times grown in locations. experiment conducted under field conditions, two crop seasons (2019/2020 2020/2021), Lages Curitibanos, state Santa Catarina, Brazil. A randomized block experimental design used, treatments organized 4×3 (2019/2020) 4×4 (2020/2021) factorial arrangements, four replications. consisted cultivars: BMX Raio IPRO® (Raio), Zeus (Zeus), MONSOY 5947 (Monsoy), Fibra (Fibra) three or herbicide treatments: no herbicides, sulfentrazone + diuron, diclosulam 2019/2020; diclosulam, pyroxasulfone flumioxazin 2020/2021. plots were evaluated phytotoxicity canopy closure, plant height, stand plants, number pods per plant, one-thousand grain weight, yield. plants mild, 11%, regardless cultivar growth location. fully recovered from injuries 14 days after application. In presented higher yield both seasons. factor showed that diuron decreased 2019/2020. following season, only decreases due application flumioxazin. Lages, affected yield; Monsoy most productive.

Response of Poaceous Weeds in Wheat to Post-Emergence Herbicides

Poaceous weeds are prolific and competitive in winter crops, but they are more insidious in wheat due to their similar morphology and growing requirements. Herbicides are effective and efficient tools of weed management, however, they are vulnerable to resistance, and herbicides with different modes of action might check the dominance of a particular weed flora. The current study was undertaken...

Efficacy of Pre-Emergence and Post-Emergence Soybean Herbicides for Control of Glufosinate-, Glyphosate-, and Imidazolinone-Resistant Volunteer Corn

Glyphosate-resistant corn and soybean are grown in rotations in the Midwest, including Nebraska. Volunteer corn is a problematic weed in soybean fields because it causes harvest problems, reduces yield and seed quality, and potentially harbors insects, pests, and diseases. Several pre-packaged herbicides have been registered in soybean in recent years, but response of volunteer corn to these he...

Glyphosate-Resistant Weed Control and Soybean Injury in Response to Different PPO-Inhibiting Herbicides

In Nebraska, 5-enolpyruvyl shikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS) as well as acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibitor-resistant weeds occur in many soybean fields where herbicides from these modes-of-action have been frequently used in the past. Currently, the protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO)-inhibitors are the only effective herbicides for POST control of both glyphosateand ALS-inhibitor-resistan...
